Not all homes are safe for children. There are tons of homes out there that is designed for adults rather than children on mind. This is true and nothing is wrong about it, it is simply a case of that, its redesigning the home for a child proof home.

1. ELECTRIC COVERS FOR THE WANDERING HANDS

Since children has inquisitive minds you can’t exactly blame them for thinking of themselves. 2. LATCHES OR LOCKS SAVES THE DAY

3. UNPLUG THINGS NOT IN USE

4. EDGE BUMPERS SHOULD BE USED

This play such a big role in your house. If you have tons of edges that may not be dangerous to adults but to children with a lot of excess energy, this could be dangerous. Make sure to put edge bumpers to where it belongs. It would save you from headache and your child from a lot of injury that could be avoided most of the time.

5. LOOPS AND CORDS SHOULD BE OUT OF COMMISSION FOR AWHILE

Well at least until your child should know better. Children can get accidentally strangled by the devices. So, if you could, make sure that it is out of commission for a while. You should also make sure that not only are you making sure to get rid of those, when using blinds, make sure it’s only under two setting closed open and locked into place.

Child proofing is easy all you need to do is to look at the place and identify possible hazards in your home for your child. It cannot always be the nursery to be the only area to be safe.

You have to remember to prepare because the child would learn to walk and explore soon. Security and safety goes hand in hand when it comes to making sure a child is safe.
