The LE60 model appears to be almost identical to the LX60 models in almost every technical specification. The one exception is that the LE60 comes with two 14 watt per channel surround sound speakers rather than the slightly more powerful 20 watt speakers. Since the LE is more of a limited edition model, it may not be as available in your area, and there is no MSRP listed, giving dealers much more leeway in pricing options. In other words, you might be able to find this unit at a special bargain price. If you do, you will not be going wrong with it because it has all of the technical features that give the Panasonic LCD televisions one of the best pictures in the entire industry.

It features 1366 x 768 resolution, and handles progressive scan in 480p/720p/1080i resolution formats. The response speed is 8ms which allows fast action pictures like sporting events to be shown with the same distortion free reproduction as any other High Definition program. The picture is further enhanced with In Plane Switching control, Active Light Control, Active Contrast/Gamma Control system, and even Panasonic’s unique LCD Artificial Intelligence. When all of this is combined, the result is a bit more than a life like picture. The colors are so brilliant, and the contrast so dramatic, that many viewer doubt real life ever could look quite as good.

There is a complete array of input and output connections, but the HDMI-HDCP interface is generally going to be all you need to avoid the normal tangle of wires found behind most Home Theater systems. Panasonic’s normal package of standard features comes with this unit as well. This includes the Pedestal Stand, remote control, V-Chip Program lockout control, and the Integrated ATSC tuning system. All of this pulling only 126 watts in a unit that weighs less than 50 pounds, and is no more than six inches deep. The TC-32LE60 might be a little harder to find, but if it is the model you see in a sale flyer, it is certainly worth a serious look.
