This is the 32 inch screen size entry in the 92 series of Samsung LCD HDTVs. The 92 series has much the same as the 96 series, and in this size is still a serious candidate for that den television. The Optimized Game mode feature is absent from the 32 inch units, but this is mainly because the 32 inch size is already optimized for gaming. A RGB input can hook directly to your PC and turn the unit into a large monitor. The 10 bit processor helps out in HD and with gaming. It produces over 12 billion colors, and they are brightened by the Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp, and sharpened by a 5,000:1 contrast ratio.

There are hidden 10 watt surround sound speakers, and side mounted S-video inputs. The tuner contains channel 2 through 13 in VHF, 14 through 69 in UHF, and 1 through 125 in CATV with up to 181 preselected channels.

An LCD television is a good choice when space in the viewing area is a consideration. It weighs 45 pounds, and is slim and stylish. It meets VESA standards and can be wall mounted, but has a swivel stand included. LCDs have excellent side angle viewing. This one can be viewed from an angle of up to 178 degrees without any noticeable distortion. This makes its placement in the viewing room a little less critical than with alternate formats. Although it is a good choice for dens and bedrooms, it also has HDMI interface connections and is still large enough to be the center of a Home Theater system.
